Joy Arrives - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Joy Arrives - A Poem

Joy arrives

Joy dances and swirls

Joy given freely to those whom will accept this gift

The joy of living ones' life within the realm of freedom

A childs' joy untampered with and left to be experienced honestly

Yes, an honest joy

Free of hinderences

Free of doctrines

Free of definitions

Free to be expressed and experienced by all willing

Yes,  joy born in freedom

Joy born in love

Joy given and taken freely

A  joy that comes to visit

A joy that arrives to you this day, this moment

A joy to be shared

A joy in living and a living paid in the currency of joy

Be joyful this day

Be joyful this moment

Come to the joy of this moment

Arrive and depart in joy

Let joy make a home within your heart.

Allow joy this day

Now

Now, have we joy

Ah, it's so good. It's precisely what we need. All this "problems" set in this world will all be solved if we just tuned in to the emotional state who we truly are - we are beings of love and joy, because isn't that were we came from? Just go out in the late evening or night in the starshine and moonlight - lay down on the ground somewhere and ask Universe - show me your love and joy! and maybe you'll see that it's already there within you! :-)

Thanks for a beautiful poem :-)

Hi Mike,

Thank you for this poem on joy. It's not an easy state of being in these times, but as my friend Sharie at Sending Joy says, "All we have to do is open our inner eyes to see the real world."
Blessings your way,
Pam

"the currency of joy"
Such a great concept!
Your poem invokes joy and our awareness of it. I can imagine your poem as a prayer that all children everywhere have this blessing:
"A childs' joy untampered with and left to be experienced honestly
Yes, an honest joy
Free of hinderences
Free of doctrines
Free of definitions
Free to be expressed and experienced by all willing
Yes, joy born in freedom"

Thank you.
