Merry Christmas 2017 and a Very Happy New Year 2018

I wish to take the time to thank all the readers and supporters of my Stranger In A Strange Land Blog this holiday season.   I wish everyone who visits here a good old fashioned holiday season.  I appreciate you all for visiting here, leaving comments and sharing links to some of the posts that you have found interesting or helpful.  Cozy up to the fire if you have one or cozy up to a warm friend.   Find that inner warmth of the heart and share it with others.  With all the stresses, all the pressures, all the insanity of our times it is more important than ever to be self-reliant and responsible and create a space of love or kindness or goodness at least in the privacy of your own home.

Be well, be happy and strive toward a balanced life if you so choose.  I wish you every happiness and every success in your life.

Warmest & Kindest regards,
Mike

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all.

Blind Yet Clear Seeing - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

She walks through this world

Big smile upon her face

Blind yet clear seeing

© 2017 M.N. Hopkins

Note: I wrote this poem today inspired by a blind woman I often see walking in town.   She takes very long  walks daily by herself only with the aid of her white cane.  This day she happened to have a big smile on her face.    I had earlier today been formulating  a Christmas message for my blog and what she expressed is what I was attempting to express in a long winded way with  many words.

This poem was published on my blog for the first time on the 22 of December 2017 in the poetry form of haiku.

He Blew The Whistle - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

The truth above all
He blew the whistle

Exposed a corrupted Land

Bechir Rabani dead

©  2017  M. N. Hopkins

Note:   I wrote and published this poem today on my blog for the first time today, the 21th of December 2017 in the haiku sytle of poetry.  Below I have included some background information in the form of a tribute to him.  Lest we forget:

RIP Bechir

Bechir was an alternative journalist going after MSM journalists in Sweden using their methods. He turned the table on them. He is well known and well loved in Sweden. He exposed some information on a very famous journalist and his wife in Sweden and his George Soros connection. He was found dead in his home a few days later. No cause of death known or released to the public. Some on you from Norden know of him. He started a Facebook group called, White Girls Matter. Did this because he was a father with daughters and wanted to shed some light on the growing rape epidemic in Sweden and give some support to the girls who get no help from the authorities. Rather are attacked, shamed and ridiculed as the rapists are protected. I just wish to let you know of him. A friendly,  helpful guy who went against the party line knowing the consequences and never backed down.

The three words at the bottom of the meme translate to: Truth before everything or Truth above all.

You Are..... The Wisdom of Rumi

Jelaluddin Rumi, the 13th century mystic poet, was truly one of the most passionate and profound poets in history.  Now, today his presence still remains strong, due in part to how his words seem to drip of the divine, and startle a profound rememberance that links all back to the Soul-Essence.  Born in what is present day Afghanistan in 1207, he produced his master work the Masnawi which consists of over 60,000 poems before he died in 1273.  The best way to fully say in words his impact, is that he has the ability to describe the Indescribable, Ineffable-- God.

Me Too Distraction - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Me too distraction

Pedos and rapists get a jail free card

Globalists gone mad

©  2017 M. N. Hopkins

Note:  This was inspired after a conversation with someone about the #Me too movement that people are flocking to without even knowing what or who is behind it, not knowing it is just another media distraction to deal with the harsh realities of pedophilia,  child porn, rapes increasing dramatically in Europe, and all the cover ups of the wealthy, powerful and religious groups involved  in these activities.  Better to go onto fakebook or other social medias and confess to someone staring at you or bumping into you by accident or perhaps they were thinking of you sexually or confessing sex with the rich and powerful that you were too drunk or stoned to remember, willingly went along for a job, money or political favours rather than saying no or back off or giving them a good quack with your purse.  Choose an incident that happened 10 or 20 years back and show your weakness and true corruptible nature in reality while in the mass pychosis of media appear to be a hero to your peers and all the little people whom are brainwashed enough to think you are some kind of special.

I wrote this poem a few days ago and published it for the first time on my blog today, the 15th of December 2017.  It was written in the haiku style of poetry.

Iceland - A Poem by M.N. Hopkins

Iceland, a hard place

And a place that brings to life

Balance and power

©  2017 M.N. Hopkins

Note:  The inspiration for this came to me while watching a show about Iceland and old and fond memories can back to me about the high energy of the place and the closeness to Earth's power and how that it is a place where Heaven and Earth can meet and balance can be born.   I wrote this poem in the haiku sytle & published this poem today, the 14th of December on my blog.

Beauty & It's Relationship To Kindness - The Wisdom of Omraam Mikheal Aivanhov

Beauty - its relationship to kindness

"Sometimes, while in the mountains, we see on the edge of a precipice a tree whose trunk and branches are oddly twisted. This tree has had to withstand high winds, bad weather, even lightning, but it resisted and its struggle against the elements is reflected in its trunk and branches. In the same way, in life we meet people whose faces are tortured and asymmetrical, but what gifts, what talents! This proves that they too have had to endure very difficult conditions. And to overcome them, they have often developed their mind and will to the detriment of certain qualities of the heart, and these efforts, these tensions, are visible on their faces.

Beauty in human beings speaks more of the qualities of their heart than of their intellectual faculties or their will. Beauty, true beauty, has a much greater affinity with kindness than with intelligence. This is why very beautiful people are often predestined to be victims. And this is why it is important that they are surrounded by people who can help them to defend themselves against the desires their beauty arouses in others."

Ten Quotations from Brian W.R. Jones

"A commitment to Philosophy and Self Knowledge, is a commitment to challenging your own and other peoples delusions"

"Freedom will come when the people of the world want it so badly that they demand that those in power step aside - remove forever the ideas of collectivism and replace it with the power and responsibility of the individual to control their own lives"

"The more power we allow in to the hands of other men and women, the less control we have over our own lives"

"It should be no surprise to anyone-that through the forced indoctrination by our Rulers/Masters, we end up unable to imagine a world without these Rulers/Masters"

"You must only engage in serious conversations when honesty lies at the heart. Anything else is unproductive and very destructive"

"The job of a parent is to Peacefully (none aggressively), communicate their knowledge, Critical thinking skills and experience to their child, and at the same time remain open to everything their child will also teach them as they develop. This is the Great challenge"

"Sickness is not confined to the hospitals and doctors surgeries; but appears in the everyday, on every street and in every building. Do not try and run with the mob: do not work to gain power over or to be accepted by the masses; for if that is your choice then this sickness will be your fate"

"If you shield people from the consequences of their actions then you just encourage them to continue doing stupid things."

"In the absence of self-knowledge most people will be guided through adulthood by the broken child within"

"That MATRIX moment). When you first introduce people to Philosophical thinking i often hear the question, "Why does my head hurt?" to which i reply....."Because you've never used it before"

Bitter & Sweet - An Insight from M.N. Hopkins

For the physical body,  bitterness is often a catalyst to health and sweetness is often a catalyst to sickness.

For the emotional body,  the opposite is true.  Sweetness promotes health and bitterness promotes sickness.

For Spirit,  bitter and sweet are just a part of the human experience.  In a sense from a Soul's perspective,  we take the bitter with the sweet.

Knowing this, change is a matter of changing one's point of reference.   Bitter or sweet being beneficial or harmful or neutral depending on where we are viewing from.

M.N. Hopkins

Note:  I was thinking about a person who was so bitter about life and not achieving what he believed should be his role in this world or better said,  not having others accept him as an advisor or guru.   I reflected on unrealistic expectations and ego directed thinking and the relationship between bitter and sweet popped into my head.  Many healing remedies are bitter whereas sweets can lead to illness. On the emotional level it is quite the opposite.  As far as Spirit, it's all a part of life in this world.  I thought about it some and wrote down some thoughts last night and this morning and the above insight is the result.

We will not do that

We live in a world

Founded on freedom of choice

Yet, we live as slaves
